With the Mercedes-Benz S-Class 2026 facelift, the Stuttgart-based manufacturer once again sets benchmarks in the luxury-class segment. This model update, which will also launch as the S-Class 2027, goes well beyond a classic refresh: more than 50% of all components have been newly developed or extensively revised. The result is a luxury sedan that elevates comfort, technology and digital intelligence to an even higher level.
S-Class facelift: evolution down to the last detail
For decades, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class has been regarded as a technological benchmark in automotive engineering. The 2026 S-Class facelift (W223) consistently carries this ambition forward. The exterior looks cleaner, more modern and more assured, without abandoning the model line’s iconic design language. The revised front end with a newly designed grille and modernized light signature gives the sedan an even more confident presence.
Inside, the new S-Class 2026 / 2027 also shows why it is considered the benchmark in the luxury class: the finest materials, precise craftsmanship and an even more optimized interior concept create an atmosphere that meets the highest expectations of comfort and exclusivity—for both the driver and rear passengers.
Digitalization and comfort at luxury-class level
With the new Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS), a fully connected, update-capable software architecture makes its way into the S-Class facelift generation. Over-the-air updates, intelligent driver assistance systems and intuitive user guidance make the 2026 S-Class future-proof and a technological leader.
This is complemented by further developed driver assistance systems, an even more refined air suspension, innovative climate solutions, and new safety and comfort features. The goal remains unchanged: a driving experience that delivers maximum serenity, confidence and long-distance comfort—regardless of whether it’s an S-Class 2026 or 2027.
